Centaura® - the pioneer
The best-known product in our Icaridin range is Centaura®. It contains 20% Icaridin and can be used on humans, horses and dogs.
Applied evenly to the skin, it protects against mosquitoes for up to 8 hours, biting flies (e.g. horseflies) for up to 5 hours and ticks for up to 4 hours.
The pleasantly scented spray is quiet, efficient and easy to use. It doesn’t leave any oily residue on skin, horsehair or fur.
The quietness of the spray helps the animals stay calm during application. At the same time, the bag-on-valve spray technology allows for 360° application to thoroughly cover and thus protect even hard-to-reach areas, such as the horse’s belly. This makes Centaura® the pioneer of insect repellents for use on horses.
In the USA, Centaura® is the official fly repellent of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), the United States Equestrian Federation and Horse Shows In The Sun.

Hoof care
Tanador® is a conditioning gel used to harden the hooves of large animals and livestock. The formulation is based on an innovative technology developed for a targeted and slow release of the active ingredients. Tanador® adheres to hooves for several days while continuously releasing small amounts of formaldehyde from its cell structure. That way, the formaldehyde is directly supplied to the precise location where it is needed. Because of the slow-release mechanism of the technology, the rate of evaporation of formaldehyde towards the environment is negligible. This significantly reduces any toxic respiratory effect for humans and animals.
Stable hygiene
4CIDAL is the next innovation in the field of cleaning and disinfection of animal habitats, such as stables and enclosures.
4CIDAL not only deactivates viruses and bacteria like conventional disinfectants or detergents but kills viruses/bacteria completely by destroying their RNA/DNA. This prevents microorganisms from developing resistances and allows for a reduction of antibiotics use in animal husbandry.
Biofilms are extremely difficult to clean and usually require a combination of mechanical and chemical action. Biofilms are a collection of microorganisms held together by an extracellular matrix and they adhere to almost all animate and inanimate surfaces (e.g. cells, tissues and solid surfaces). 4CIDAL targets biofilms by eliminating extracellular DNA (eDNA) and RNA (exRNA) and is capable of rapidly dissolving any biofilm formation without mechanical action.
Dergall®
Dergall® is an innovative, patented product developed to eliminate red poultry mite infestations in poultry houses. Dergall® is based on the unique Ecto Net technology. When applied to a surface, it forms an air-permeable, three-dimensional molecular structure. It causes external mechanical immobilization of the pests, inhibiting their ability to take up blood. This leads to a significant reduction in their population. Since the product does not contain an active ingredient, it is not subject to registration and is therefore not classified as a biocide.
Safe product for the environment and the user without exposure time. Dergall® can be safely applied in the chicken coup in the presence of the birds. It does not penetrate the chicken skin or the eggs.
Does not contain an active ingredient and therefore does not qualify as a biocide. The physical protection acts against bacterial infection and prevents mites from developing resistance to the product.
